Et Zikna – Halacha Mimkora [in Hebrew]

In recent decades, life expectancy has increased significantly. This reality creates many diverse challenges and various halachic questions regarding the issues of adolescent parents or respecting elderly parents, and in particular regarding foreign workers.

The book “Old Age – Halacha from its Source” is intended to help deal with these halachic questions. The main part of the book includes many instructions regarding foreign workers, regarding the laws of Shabbat, kashrut, uniqueness and modesty, idolatry, prayer, observance of mitzvot, the cycle of the year, and more, in a clear and concise manner. In addition, the book contains a chapter dealing with the issues of respecting parents in old age.

In addition to discussing halachic questions, we have dedicated some of the chapters of the book to dealing with old age and its significance, from various perspectives: Torah, psychological, medical, and more. The book also contains technical and halachic information regarding the selection of a foreign worker and dealing with him.

The entire book, like all “Halakh from the Source” books, is accompanied by diagrams and summaries that help you remember the laws and understand the basics of the matter. At the beginning of the book, a summary of the laws appears, in which you can find the actual law in a nutshell, along with a reference to where in the body of the book the matters appear in detail.
